Departing
Your Hibiscus Tangerine Tango originates from the sun-drenched tropical islands of Asia and the Pacific. Known as the flower of the tropics, Hibiscus has been a symbol of exotic beauty, warmth and island living for centuries. Tangerine Tango brings that vibrant island charm to your home.
Destination
Place your Hibiscus in containers on sunny patios, balconies or in a sheltered garden spot. It makes a stunning focal point wherever it goes and creates an instant tropical island atmosphere. Bring indoors when temperatures drop below 10°C (50°F).
Seat — Sun Exposure
Your Hibiscus loves the sun — give it at least 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight per day. A warm, south-facing position is ideal. The more sun it receives, the more abundant and vibrant its blooms will be.
Cabin Climate — Watering
Keep the soil evenly moist but never waterlogged. Water regularly, especially during hot weather — container plants may need daily watering in summer. Reduce watering in winter when the plant is less active. Good drainage is essential.
Enjoyment
Feed your Hibiscus every two weeks with a balanced liquid fertilizer during the growing season. Enjoy large, colourful blooms from spring through late summer. Remove spent flowers to encourage continuous blooming. Prune lightly in early spring to maintain shape and promote new growth.
